San Francisco based producer Kris Grant, aka Idea Unsound, was living in the metropolitan mega city of Shanghai while creating this EP. "Explore Shanghai" featuers 4 tracks, embodying the hustle and bustle of the city and its multitude of inhabitants. Bouncy grooves seem to move like the ever-busy people that call Shanghai home, while demure piano lines and synth melodies refresh the listener like a glass of cool water on a hot, Chinese summer day. Utilizing field recordings from all over Shanghai, these songs embed the listener in the lavish motion of the city that never sleeps.
