Freak Dream is a solo recording project and live band created by Vancouver BC based musician Elliot Langford (SSRIs, The Rebel Spell, Sprïng, Big EviL, Togetherness). The music of Freak Dream is inspired by the work of solo producer artists (Nine Inch Nails, Prince, Grimes); the cathartic energy of punk (Converge, Blood Brothers); and the textures of noise-rock (HEALTH, Melt Banana); combined with post-hardcore influenced emotive vocals.
"Rhythms Of Love", is the debut five-track EP from Dave Maguire. Written and recorded at home with the help of his long-time collaborators and friends, this journey through the sounds of R&B, soul, and pop is reminiscent of love songs from yesteryear, while maintaining contemporary pop sensibilities. "Rhythms Of Love" tackles the stages of romance from beginning to end and, mostly forgotten, the complexities in between.
