Twin sisters, Rae and Cola, known together as RaeCola, are DJs and producers making a wave in the house music scene with their underground, booty bass sound. Hailing from Chicago, these sisters understand the foundation of house music, while adding an edge with influences from ghetto house, tech house and juke. RaeCola is excited to make their Popgang debut with a bumping EP to get down and dirty. Like Route 66, the twins are taking you from Chicago to LA—this time with a twist.


PG196: Baby Weight & Manics - Precious Contemplations at a Loft Party


D.C. darling Baby Weight teams up with Popgang's Manics for something completing different. "Precious Contemplations at a Loft Party" is an ode to the NYC indie sleaze era. Reminiscent of those early oughts bands that blended dance music and post punk and created a new American sound. Baby Weight provides a sped up Emo edit to keep the DJs happy, while the original is dripped in nostalgia.
