Roots, the second track on the "Dahlia" EP, picks up where the haunting opener "A Garden Overrun" left off. With a breakbeat backbone, stripped-down acoustic guitars, and more innocent synth plays accompanied by ASW's vocals, "Roots" speaks to vulnerability and honesty between two people. It is an uplifting transformative piece that concludes with a radiant house beat.
